- It was almost cool enough to snow again when we lit our Christmas and Holiday luminaries on Sunday December 21, 2008. Thanks to all who joined in showing our Baton Rouge neighbors our holiday spirit!

- The next Annual Membership Meeting of KCA will be WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 4, 2009, at the Kenilworth Middle School. All dues-paying members of KCA are invited to attend.
Benefits of KCA Membership include:

- KCA provides security patrols for the neighborhood
- KCA sponsors the annual Kenilworth Independence Day Parade
- KCA sponsors the annual Christmas Luminaries every December
- KCA represents our subdivision at the Federation of Greater Baton
Rouge Civic Associations
- KCA sponsors representative teens who reside in Kenilworth to
Boys and Girls State through the Albert L. Clary scholarship.
- The KCA Legal Committee looks at residential "sore spots" such as
blighted homes, to ensure maximum property values.
- KCA has open board meetings every month and the annual general meeting
every February. Minutes are posted online at the "KCABr" Yahoo! Group site.
All Kenilworth residents benefit from these efforts and other work, such as on
subdivision beautification (for example, the entrances to the subdivision). Please join KCA to
support these efforts and to support your community!
- HAVE YOU PAID YOUR KCA DUES?
Dues are $50 per year. Most of this goes into support of our
neighborhood Security patrols.
All this makes Kenilworth a safe and beautiful place to live.
Kenilworth neighbors, please join the

- INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE
The 2008 parade rolled at 6:30 pm on Thursday, July 3. The 2008 theme was "United We Stand." Thanks to all those who braved the rain, which shortened the parade. Hope and pray for better weather next year!
