- Neighborwood Watch information:
- Get to know your neighbors by developing a citizen awareness crime
prevention program. The Baton Rouge Police Department recommends the
Neighborhood watch program. "When citizens take positive steps by learning how
to secure their propertyand report suspicious activities around their homes,
they are helping themselves as well as their neighbors. Neighborhood Watch
focuses on the prevention of residential burglary."
- In the event of any criminal activity, call the Baton Rouge Police
Department. (Dial 911 for Emergencies; 389-2000 for non-emergencies.)
- Guardpoint Security provides patrol service in Kenilworth. You can call them
at 413-7773 with security concerns.
- Home Inspection Checklist. Suggested items
to look at to improve the security of your home.
- Operation Identification. Information on
identifying and engraving your valuables to help prevent theft and to help
recover any items that might be stolen. Engraving tools can be purchased at
Lowe's or Home Depot.
